Celtic Woman was a heart opening experience.
I have always loved the harmony and sound of this extremely talented group. Each of the musicians contribute both collectively and individually. Meav is a pixie on stage who actually has a conversation with you through her skill on the violin. The percussionists, the pipers, the guitarists and of course David Downes with his piano and his leadership, all play crucial roles. The backup singers have their own vocal moments and fill the stage with movement. The four vocalists combine their crystal clear voices with a sense of joy, providing unlimited enjoyment to their audience. When a single soloist may appear lonely musically and physically, the stage and lighting even have their own roles in completing a totally fun and enjoyable evening.
